Meet The Chef...
From the time I was a little girl fresh and delicious foods were a part of my life. Fond memories of being in the kitchen with my
grandma, aunts and mom are among my favorites of childhood. Back then, food meant
love and still does today.
As my interest in all things food related grew, I began attending
cooking classes and participating in local cooking competitions.
Years later, after attending Pennsylvania Culinary Institute, my
Chef's career began at the Grand
Geneva Resort and Spa in Wisconsin. This resort boasted three "fine dining" restaurants, many opportunities in catering, along with hosting numerous celebrity attended special events.
Restaurants and traveling became my passion for the next several years. The opportunity to become the
Executive Sous Chef at Kirsch's on the Bay in Wisconsin further enhanced my skills in the kitchen, as well as my rapport
with vendors as a food buyer. Jilly's Piano Bar in Chicago was
next in my travels but my desire to return home became strong.
I returned to the Pittsburgh area after accepting a wonderful position at the Grand Concourse restaurant. Shortly after that, came an opportunity to be a part of a restaurant from its inception. SIBA Restaurant and Cucina near Cranberry, PA. gave me the chance to design menus,
contribute to the restaurant lay-out and be a kitchen design consultant.
After marrying and having my daughter, I chose to offer my services in a more personal way. I am thrilled to bring my food philosophy to friends and neighbors in Allegheny, Butler, Monroeville and surrounding areas while nurturing my daughter's budding interest in all things food related.
SIMPLE! SIMPLE FOODS! SIMPLY PREPARED! SIMPLY DELICIOUS!
